No fewer than 365 youths from Gombe State have applied for the ninth regular course intake of Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.
Our correspondent reports that the 365 are being screened at the Police command headquarters in Gombe.
Speaking during the physical and credentials screening at the command headquarters, the team leader of the delegation that comprised the Police Service Commission and Academic Staff of Police Academy, ACP Bello Adamu, explained that the screening would last from September 26 to October 1, 2022.
Adamu expressed optimism that the applicants would not be found liable for manipulating their records, wishing them success in the screening exercise.
He said the applicants are from the 11 Local Government Areas of Gombe State.
On his part, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Mahid Abubakar, noted that the 365 are those that showed interest to participate in the police academy training.
According to Abubakar, “These are the ones that applied to attend the police Academy Wudil. They are indigenes of Gombe State. The physical and credentials screening for the ninth regular course would help check those who have educational issues and so on.”
