Singer, Oleesa Isaac, has said he desires to touch lives positively with his music and imparts on his audience a variety of sounds, which will leave them captivated.

The singer, who is also an ordained deacon in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, is set to release his first EP titled, ‘I will follow’.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, he spoke about his journey in music and ministry, saying, “I started my ministry back in school in 2014. I was just doing voice training and then it turned to worship meetings. I have consistently hosted concerts and released some songs almost yearly. Some of the songs I have released so far include ‘My Hiding Place’, ‘I Am Not Afraid’, and ‘Fire!’

“I strongly believe that I am called to be the light that points people to God through music and the teaching of the word.

“It is interesting that I did not start out to be a gospel artist; I just loved singing. In fact, I wasn’t the best singer at that time in the choir, among my peers and family. I just wanted to love God more and I discovered an unusual grace afterwards in the way I sing. Till date, I basically follow God’s instructions and here we are.”

On the aspiration for his music career, he said, “I want my music to spread across. By God’s grace, I am never short of songs. However, I desire that more people will listen to my songs.

“Also, I have to continually remain fresh to receive the word in season as I minister to the people.”
